De Luca closes Rio Oil & Gas highlighting optmism of the industry with new rounds

The President of the Brazilian Institute of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (IBP), João Carlos de Luca, considered the Rio Oil & Gas, which closed last September 20, at the Riocentro, as “historical”. According to him, the governmental annoucement, last Tuesday, of the upcoming new Brazil Rounds next year changed the hearts of attendees dramatically. “At the opening ceremony, the impression is that the industry was flying and the pilot’s announcement was “attention crew, prepare to land”. Now it feels like “doors armed, we are about to take off”, he said during the event’s final ceremony.
