Annoucement Rio Oil & Gas

The coronavirus pandemic presents us with an unprecedented challenge, affecting everyone on a global scale. All sectors of industry and civil society today have the responsibility to prepare for the gradual resumption of activities, ensuring the safety, health and well-being of their employees, customers and associates. The same goes for IBP.

We continue to monitor the situation of the coronavirus in Brazil and in the world, outlining different scenarios so that we have safe conditions to hold Rio Oil & Gas, with all its capacity and relevance that the event has always presented.

The projections show major challenges for holding events over the coming months. We identified several risks, but mainly those related to travel restrictions.

Therefore, Rio Oil & Gas will be postponed and will no longer happen in September 2020 due to COVID-19. A new date is under review, considering the projections and curves of the pandemic in Brazil so that the event will be carried out with all its excellence and innovation shown in previous editions, reinforcing the importance of the development of the oil and gas industry in convergence with the growth of the Brazilian economy.

We inform you that all of the investment made by exhibiting and sponsoring companies is preserved and that the Exhibitors’ service and our sales executives are open for any clarification or support necessary.

Also, we will keep all of our customers informed about Rio Oil & Gas updates through our digital channels.
We assure that the IBP team and the Organizing Committee will be continuing to work to prepare an even more innovative edition, which will connect the oil and gas industry, reinforcing its importance in resuming the growth of the Brazilian economy.

It will be a big challenge, but together we have the energy to overcome it.
